Its been a year to-day.

Its been a year since this lovely person passed away.



It’s a year today that my mother-in-law passed away,
How quickly that moment has been and went.
She knew, the date, to us she couldn’t say,
As the Lord came, embraced her spirit, with consent.

Come my child, your task here is done,
Come with me and see the rest of your folk.
Put down your burden, time for you again, begun,
Enjoy the company with each other, laugh at the joke.

My spirit swiftly took flight as I had breathed my last.
