duh, Cavemen are all well #2

Dear Joe;

Just to let you know the Cavemen are all well since, “duh Leafs” had decided to go out early and start to work at greener pastures such as the garden centers and golf greens to pay back the ticket purchases we spent on their dismal performance this year. I, thought I saw a few in the Russian minor leagues.

Since, we have started this petition we have noticed other people want to do the same and its even reached the national news. We plan to keep it small and just be a nuisance, the club until they pay up or promise to give us seats for the next season. Fat chance, of that happening, but we are persistent and we will see what happens.

What’s the worst that could happen, we get a restraining order and we counter with a “are we bothering you order” and continue as usual. I, am sure they would rather pay up and be rid of us because you know those newspaper capitalist’s are just looking for some stuff to print.

We have offered up the names of certain players to the “Glo in the Dark, carpet bowling league” in case they are in need of caddies. I, don’t if that’s what they call them, but sure beats been called a ball n pin chaser. Whatever, we will have to come up with a name just for those sports.

Our team did not qualify this year, too “many young guys” and we could have made it, if we traded off a few of us, but that’s not the point. We worked and trained all winter to be who we are and be dammed if a under age rule is going to bust up the team.

Maybe we can play “slow pitch” and in this league, performance counts a little but it’s the fun of been part of a group that enjoys fair play and malted beverages, all in reason. Most of us will qualify and even get a “seniors discount” if there is enough of us.

I love baseball, “its bin, very, very, goud to me”. Later Joe, I hear the love of my life calling and it ain’t dinner time, so it must back to work time.

Did,someone say "carpet"?
p.s. still watching Hockey, life is grand, we don’t care who wins, because they deserve it,then we can switch to Carpet Bowling League Finals aka "Clean Sweep".

CANADIAN Products Not Containing MSGbr / | Frito-Lay

CANADIAN Products Not Containing MSGbr / | Frito-Lay

I phoned and asked for products that are not treated with MSG.

Pick, him up, ASAP please !

I am sorry: - -that I hit / hurt with my hands

-I used to kick with my feet.

-I made fun of people.

-I caused problems on the bus.

-I was rude to the bus driver.

-I was rude to my class mates.

-I was rude to my teachers, indeed I am sorry.

The other day we get a call from the school to inform us that our grandson is suspended for the remainder of the week from school. And would we come and pick him up ASAP please. With a quick summary of what happened to cause this call from them, I said I would be right up there. So, the question is, how can a little kid cause so much chaos, that they have to suspend him?.

If, You read the few words above it will explain what happened to have them finally give up and send him home to us. I, guess when you push and shove the consequences are some one gets hurt and it wasn’t pretty.

The school had agreed to a playground arrangement where as the boys that were prone to fight , would be separated from each other and they could play without incidents and be monitored.

The experience was working out well and every one seemed to get along and then it was decided to let them play together and see what would happen. What, happened was my kid was sent home. The boys began to call names, push, shove, kick, gash, gouge, swing fists and so on.

I am sure he wasn’t the eventual winner, but he got to go home and leave the school in a comparative peaceful state. So, why are we penalized for his mistakes.?, aren’t you supposed to handle this at school?.

These teachers are great, but you can only bend over so far.!! Rules, are made for guidance.

As, I have written before, I ain’t Judge Judy and I don’t want to be. As for the other boys, I didn’t ask, (maybe, they were sent home) ?? ,not likely.

So, he had all his privileges suspended at home and that was a unpleasant task for him to accept. He was given small chores to do to keep him busy and to think about his actions at school. The reason for his reprimand, which has long faded from his mind and he is now pissed about having to do menial labors and also at us for making him do it.

We explained it wasn’t us you should be upset about ,its yourself. Your behaviors weren’t appreciated and you have the consequences to pay. Slowly, his privileges were returned or taken away again if his actions didn’t improve. Please, don’t ruin our day because you are in a grump.

Trying to be positive about this situation is difficult and my opinion is; the kid is enjoying the extra attention. And if he learns anything about this experience it’s dubious to me, right now. So, he had to write a letter to say he was sorry and He would make an effort, to improve.!! (we have heard this before) might happen.

Stay, tuned as this adventure no doubt, will continue.

* As a side note, the boys were sent to day camp and every day one or the other or both,  is asked to leave early for behaviour. There is a waste of money,NON REFUNDABLE, ouch.!! Rules.!! If you carry this forward, you see why kids get sent home from school, they can't handle them.!!!

Facts are; the kids come first, but in the end, will they be the enabled??. Should, kids come second in some things??. Are we too lenient??. Should we bring back the strap??? That, will be my next enlightenment, just as much for you, as it will be for me.!! Man, .I just gotta read this.

What, am I thinking?, well I am not sure, not.! Don’t forget now, this is my opinion, based on what happens in real time. Life, isn’t fair, so get used to it.

I, am not one to shy away from anything, you can’t, there is belief in what I do and sometimes it isn’t the popular thing. Now, I know what a political person feels like. “ I, love it, ??, nope! Satisfying?, nope. Is it worth it?. If, it teaches my kid a lesson, and he benefits, yes.! I, will do what it takes.

Hi,who is next??.

The ultimate reality check ?, you never know!!.

I, happen to over hear a conversation about a certain persons life being discussed and in fact I left as it not my habit of choice. But the thoughts of that event stuck with me and I was wondering what kind of story could there be behind this persons life. Always questions.

In my opinion; Death of a loved one or somebody you knew does two things for us, firstly, it reminds us that life is short and we can be called at anytime and secondly it gives a yard stick to measure against. Is this the time you get a chance to review your own life, while you have the leisure of time to do so.?

Certain moods produce a variety of thoughts and emotions. If you are in a melancholic mood, it will occur when you think about your recently departed relative. The memories flood back quickly and soon you are younger person and the pictures you keep in your dresser come out and you begin to meditate about your life.

Then, you go to the mirror and stare at the person in the reflection. You really look and what you do see?. An image of your Mom or brother / sister?. You, looked like your Grandmother, you come to a decision and she lived to a ripe old age. Hell, I got a long ways to go, where’s that wine.?

This isn’t the day for a reality check, its too nice out and I have things to do, maybe tomorrow I will try again.!. why, beat a dead horse.?. what the hell is the sense of that.?.

Who guards the guards?

Tomorrow is another day and the Cavemen have come up with some sayings gathered during the intermission of a unnamed game of an unmaned team in the NHL. Hint; something to do with trees.

To my son, Mark as you know; there is great mystery and truth in life, here is what I learned and guess what I am still learning and that is a mystery, you would think at my age I should know most of it, but in fact I don’t know diddly squat.

In fact every day I learn something new and it comes from my Family, friends or rivals. And you will too, it’s a very special moment when you share your time and knowledge with your friends that slowly over time become your 2nd Family.

There will be a time when you can’t remember when you 1st met these friends, it will seem as though you knew then your entire life.

Here is some wisdom from the small bit of time that I have spent on the earth and there is more and I will add to it.

The happiest people don't have the best of everything. They just make the best of everything.

The key to all action lies in belief. Tomorrow is another day. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. You can't get there from here. . Who guards the guards?

Men age like wine; women age like milk. That, one I don’t know, careful if you repeat it. Well it will sure start an interesting talk that’s for sure.

In the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is king,.possible explanation: All style and no substance. Like father like son. Beauty is only skin deep, but ugliness goes straight to the bone. You can't have it both ways.

Pain is only weakness leaving the body.

Variety is the spice of life. April showers bring May flowers.

If something can go wrong, it will (Murphy's Law).

Laughter is the shortest distance between two people.

If you practice wrong you will always do it wrong. Life's, what happens while you make other plans.

Rats desert a sinking ship. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Judge not, lest ye be judged. A loaded wagon makes no noise.

The pitcher goes so often to the well that it comes home broken at last.

If you want a thing done well, do it yourself. When it is extremely important DO IT YOURSELF, DO NOT RELY ON THE OTHER PERSON, TO HAVE THE SAME concern AS YOU, < > its true !!!!!!!.

Meaning: Kind words/actions are more effective in bringing about an outcome than harsh ones. ^... and it takes a simpler mind to notice, Judge not, lest ye be judged. I make this mistake often, but I am learning, something like you can’t judge a book by its cover.

I find your 1st impression in meeting a new person is usually most accurate. But, having said that, I am willing to give the person a 2nd chance to impress me or not, then you decide, otherwise fuck you and all that look like you..

Better safe than sorry. Never eat the yellow snow, because it’s K9 Pee.

Good eating deserves good drinking. Wide ears and short tongue are the best.

Alternative Version: Be thankful of what you’ve got. Rome wasn't built in a day. The third time someone tries to put a saddle on you; you should admit you're a horse, and you will be rode hard and put away wet. Life's a bleach and then you dye. Think twice before you speak, engage brain before the mouth opens.

The cure is worse than the disease, if there is a needle involved. Many a true word is spoken in jest, Alternate: If at first you don't succeed, perhaps skydiving is not for you. Great oaks from little acorns grow.

The more things change, the more they stay the same. Because this has been like this for eons and it will continue, some stuff is worth doing over and over.

Certain people I worked with were always spouting this line, “If perception is reality”, blah, blah, blah, so I came up with the finisher, whether it makes sense or not, who cares, it stopped them from saying it again.

. If perception is reality, then belief is the death of imagination. Therefore, seeing is believing, then having it in your hand is the truth. Meaning to me, you all can kiss my fat-ass, because possession is 9/10’s of the law.

Well it’s something that is all old words and thoughts but in time you will use some of them and you will make up your own and then you will pass them on too whom wants to listen.

“Live simply. Love generously. Care deeply. Speak kindly. These are the best words in the world and the hardest to live up too.

Don't let the pain of one season destroy the joy of all the rest. Attention: Maple Leafs.

Don't judge life by one difficult season. Persevere through the difficult patches and better times are sure to come some time. This will be either the easiest thing or the most difficult to do, the truth will set you free. The experience of this will make you a better person.
