Tomorrow is another day and the Cavemen have come up with some sayings gathered during the intermission of a unnamed game of an unmaned team in the NHL. Hint; something to do with trees.
To my son, Mark as you know; there is great mystery and truth in life, here is what I learned and guess what I am still learning and that is a mystery, you would think at my age I should know most of it, but in fact I don’t know diddly squat.
In fact every day I learn something new and it comes from my Family, friends or rivals. And you will too, it’s a very special moment when you share your time and knowledge with your friends that slowly over time become your 2nd Family.
There will be a time when you can’t remember when you 1st met these friends, it will seem as though you knew then your entire life.
Here is some wisdom from the small bit of time that I have spent on the earth and there is more and I will add to it.
The happiest people don't have the best of everything. They just make the best of everything.
The key to all action lies in belief. Tomorrow is another day. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. You can't get there from here. . Who guards the guards?
Men age like wine; women age like milk. That, one I don’t know, careful if you repeat it. Well it will sure start an interesting talk that’s for sure.
In the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is king,.possible explanation: All style and no substance. Like father like son. Beauty is only skin deep, but ugliness goes straight to the bone. You can't have it both ways.
Pain is only weakness leaving the body.
Variety is the spice of life. April showers bring May flowers.
If something can go wrong, it will (Murphy's Law).
Laughter is the shortest distance between two people.
If you practice wrong you will always do it wrong. Life's, what happens while you make other plans.
Rats desert a sinking ship. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
Judge not, lest ye be judged. A loaded wagon makes no noise.
The pitcher goes so often to the well that it comes home broken at last.
If you want a thing done well, do it yourself. When it is extremely important DO IT YOURSELF, DO NOT RELY ON THE OTHER PERSON, TO HAVE THE SAME concern AS YOU, < > its true !!!!!!!.
Meaning: Kind words/actions are more effective in bringing about an outcome than harsh ones. ^... and it takes a simpler mind to notice, Judge not, lest ye be judged. I make this mistake often, but I am learning, something like you can’t judge a book by its cover.
I find your 1st impression in meeting a new person is usually most accurate. But, having said that, I am willing to give the person a 2nd chance to impress me or not, then you decide, otherwise fuck you and all that look like you..
Better safe than sorry. Never eat the yellow snow, because it’s K9 Pee.
Good eating deserves good drinking. Wide ears and short tongue are the best.
Alternative Version: Be thankful of what you’ve got. Rome wasn't built in a day. The third time someone tries to put a saddle on you; you should admit you're a horse, and you will be rode hard and put away wet. Life's a bleach and then you dye. Think twice before you speak, engage brain before the mouth opens.
The cure is worse than the disease, if there is a needle involved. Many a true word is spoken in jest, Alternate: If at first you don't succeed, perhaps skydiving is not for you. Great oaks from little acorns grow.
The more things change, the more they stay the same. Because this has been like this for eons and it will continue, some stuff is worth doing over and over.
Certain people I worked with were always spouting this line, “If perception is reality”, blah, blah, blah, so I came up with the finisher, whether it makes sense or not, who cares, it stopped them from saying it again.
. If perception is reality, then belief is the death of imagination. Therefore, seeing is believing, then having it in your hand is the truth. Meaning to me, you all can kiss my fat-ass, because possession is 9/10’s of the law.
Well it’s something that is all old words and thoughts but in time you will use some of them and you will make up your own and then you will pass them on too whom wants to listen.
“Live simply. Love generously. Care deeply. Speak kindly. These are the best words in the world and the hardest to live up too.
Don't let the pain of one season destroy the joy of all the rest. Attention: Maple Leafs.
Don't judge life by one difficult season. Persevere through the difficult patches and better times are sure to come some time. This will be either the easiest thing or the most difficult to do, the truth will set you free. The experience of this will make you a better person.
